Central Valley Protection Agency was founded by Mike Acosta in Fresno California. Mike has always been interested in the public safety field and has experience working numerous posts throughout the valley including armed patrol, alarm response, personal armed escort, and stationary posts. Mike attended the Criminal Justice program at San Joaquin Valley College. Where he was a squad leader and was promoted to program sergeant. He was also voted president of the American Criminal Justice Association, Lambda Alpha Epsilon chapter Mu Phi, and successfully brought home a First place trophy at the 2013 regional conference in Sacramento. Mike successfully completed the Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) academy as well as PC.832 Police officer training, First aid, CPR, and AED certification, and participated in numerous Community Service projects. Immediately after receiving his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Mike was hired as a Correctional Officer. Mike Left his job in Corrections to start Central Valley Protection Agency and provide the public with acceptable, professional, and honest service to the great people of the very same valley that he calls home.
